Hiding the fact that you have makeup on is no easy task. With the right products, however, you could easily find a way to make your routine as simple (and quick) as possible. To find out which items to actually keep in your makeup bag, we asked RMS Beauty founder Rose-Marie Swift to tell us her top five picks and tips for an uncomplicated "no-makeup" routine. Keep scrolling to follow along!

1. Face oil
A flawless-looking complexion always starts with skincare, and for the makeup artist, the best product for an instant glow is a beauty oil. "I know everybody's scared of oil, but don't be scared of the right kind," she says. "If you have beautiful skin, just put the oil on. If you need a little bit of help, then you can get our "Un" Cover Up, [which] is a very lightweight foundation-concealer and you can use to just spot-check where you need it."

2. Highlighter
Giving certain parts of the face more luminosity will further define your features, especially if you're planning to skip contour. Rose-Marie suggests applying a highlighter like the Living Luminizer on elevated ereas such as the cheekbones, on the center of the eyelid, the center of the nose, and on the upper lip.

3. Multi-use stain
Rose-Marie suggests simplifying your routine by using a multi-use cream product like her brand's Lip2Cheek. "You can get a nice color like a soft pink or a copper tone, [and then apply] a little bit on the cheek and pop a little bit on the lip," she suggests.

4. Eyebrow powder
A little definition to your eyebrows makes even the easiest makeup looks more polished. Opt for a powder product for a softer finish, lightly filling in any sparse areas. Rose-Marie's pick for this step is the Swift Shadow in Tobacco Road. "It's a brown [that] just defines the eyebrows [and] lifts the face," she expains.

5. Face powder
As your last step, sweep on some powder on the oiliest parts of your face like the T-zone. "Do not overpowder your face. Once you overpowder, it doesn't look youthful anymore—it looks dry," notes the makeup artist.
