Create your go-to beauty look on a budget.

Makeup shopping on a budget is easier than you think, especially if you prefer a minimal and barely-there face. After all, splurging on products is optional, because amazing products exist at every price range. To prove it, we created our own budget-friendly makeup kit for a "no-makeup" look—the total is under P1000! Keep scrolling to see our picks, plus tips on how to build your own!

1. Concealer: The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer, P250

Less is more if you're going for a barely-there look. Skip the foundation and just use concealer to cover areas with discoloration, which are often under the eyes, the sides of the nose, and wherever you might have pigmentation from past blemishes. We recommend spending the most on your concealer so you can get the best color-match and formula for your budget.

2. Powder: EB Advance Two Way Cake, P220

Setting your makeup is a must if you want your makeup to stay. Similar to your concealer, splurging a little for this part is a must to make sure it looks flattering on your skin tone. Our tip? Go for a powder foundation instead of a translucent one to add subtle coverage that doesn't leave a visible cast over your face. In fact, if you're having a good skin day, a light layer of powder would do! Apply it with a fluffy powder brush instead of a sponge to avoid that overly-matte look and feel. That said, sponges come very handy for touch-ups!

3. Mascara: Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara, P199

A good mascara is crucial for a no-makeup look because it's basically the only eye makeup you'll be applying. This depends on what you're looking for in mascara, but usually, lengthening and curling formulas look the most natural since they're less likely to clump. But if you're not a fan of mascara, you can switch this out with an affordable eyelash curler instead.

4. Brow Pencil: Tony Moly Love Eyebrow Pencil, P178

Polish up your arches with a few strokes of eyebrow pencil to fill in any gaps and subtly enhance its shape. A product with a built-in spoolie brush will make the process extra convenient, so be on the lookout for dual-ended brow products. Don't be afraid to spend less on this—all that matters is you get a good shade!

5. Lip and Cheek Tint: Vice Cosmetics Water Gel Lip & Cheek Tint, P145

If you're on a budget, using the same product on your cheeks and lips is the ultimate money-saver. Not only will it give you more a polished, monochrome feel, having the same colors on your skin also tends to look more natural. Pick a lip and cheek tint shade that's closest to your natural flush for a more undetectable look!
