A few weeks ago, a mystery shampoo populated television and print ads with teasers that announced that the world’s number one hair care brand was coming to shake up Manila. As part of the promotion, bloggers, teleserye actresses, and movie stars were asked to participate in the 14 day challenge that promised to transform their hair into healthier and shinier versions in the two week period.
After much buzz, the mystery was finally uncovered. Although not new to the country, Pantene was revealed as the miracle shampoo, in newer and more targeted formulations—Total Care, Hair Fall Control and Glossy Shine. A dinner was hosted by the P&G team to allow people to hear from the 14 Day Challenge participants themselves about how their hair reacted to the recent reincarnation of the shampoo and conditioners.
A coming together of Manila’s most beautiful, the 14 Day Challenge participants included Daphne Osena-Paez, Cecile Van Straten, Ana Kalaw, Cesca Litton, Andi Manzano, Erich Gonzales, Andi Eigenmann, Claudine Barretto, Angel Aquino and Carla Abellana.
The night centered around the theme, "I Commit to Change" (a sentiment we could all use in various aspects, hair related or not), hearing the women’s testimonials was proof that not only real girls have hair horror stories. Promising to revolutionize your current hair state, are you willing to commit to the 14 Day Challenge?
