For a beauty queen, learning the art of doing your own makeup is a must. Maxine Medina signed up for it when she joined this year’s Binibining Pilipinas pageant, and more so when she bagged the crown. “Believe it or not, I’m terrible at doing my own makeup. But now that I’m already in the beauty queen world, I have to learn the works—from applying foundation to putting on lashes,” says our very own Miss Philippines.
Needless to say, she’s been doing a great job at it! For someone who doesn’t claim to know much about the beauty department, Maxine has definitely mastered all the right steps necessary to achieve a beauty queen-worthy look. The 26-year-old model reveals to Style Bible how she does her everyday makeup.

“I need to look fresh before heading out for the day, so my favorite steps would be contouring, putting on lashes, and applying lipstick! Also, I always make sure that I moisturize before putting on any makeup.” – Maxine Medina
Apart from her makeup routine, Maxine also sticks to a trusted beauty regimen to make sure that she is giving her skin the proper care it deserves. She shares, “I value skin care more than makeup, because I prefer keeping it naturally smooth with or without foundation.”
