Well, Maris Racal is here to tell you that it's totally normal. In an empowering Instagram post, the 24-year-old actress did what other celebrities wouldn't dare attempt: to post a seemingly barefaced selfie that highlights a big nasty pimple on her cheek. Unedited, unfiltered, and unapologetic.
"Hayy! Kahit anong alaga natin, minsan, ang hirap iwasang magka pimple. Ang hassle pa kasi minsan, after my taping, may lumabas akong bagong friend," Maris wrote, lamenting how breakouts are simply inevitable despite all the efforts to keep them at bay. And even celebrities like her are certainly no exception.
Humorously pointing out the reasons behind "pimple stress," Maris casually tagged her photo with the most common culprits, including movie marathons, late-night study sessions, career, and even a new crush. Yup, we can totally relate!
"Pero ano mang reason mo, dapat huwag magpa-stress sa pimples mga bes," she advises her followers.
Needless to say, we totally agree! Skincare is a must, but if all else fails, remember that acne is normal and it doesn't make you any less beautiful.
