After several years working as a model in front of the camera and collaborating with some of the best makeup artists in the industry, Bianca Valerio found herself wanting to try her hand at some of the magic that happens behind the lens. Graduating from the prestigious Make-Up Designory in Los Angeles, Bianca completed courses in Beauty Make-Up, Hairstyling & Portfolio Development and has since also gained certification in Airbrush, Tanning and Lash Extensions. Never one to be confined to one day job, today Bianca juggles makeup artistry, a home-tanning service, a weekly column at Cosmo.ph and modeling, all while squeezing in taping for her Lifestyle Network show, Fashion and Style Hub (F.A.S.H.).
From starting her career at 14 to the successful smorgasbord of endeavors that she juggles, Bianca maintains that from her years in the industry, she’s learned that one simple principle holds true—that “quality never equates with high prices. All products actually work, just like shampoo, you just have to find the one that's hiyang to you or what works best for you. Best is to work from what's the cheapest to the more expensive so you can save more with trial and error.”
For our third installment of the Makeup Diaries, we decide to ask Bianca to share a week of beauty in her very hectic life.
