Looking for a fun project to work on? Now's the perfect time to get crafty. Also, there isn't really any place you can go to so you can opt to maximize your time at home (which we acknowledge is a privilege right now) by doing a project. Something new you can try? DIY lip tints! Yup, this superstar product can be made at home! Here's what you'll need:
How to make your own lip tint:
- - A few drops of red gel food color (liquid works, too)
- - One teaspoon of aloe vera gel
- - One Vitamin E capsule (natural preservative)
- - Small container (an emptied out lip tint tube is okay)
- - Glass bowl
- - Plastic spoon
Mix the aloe vera gel and food color in a bowl. You can adjust the intensity of the pigment by adding more food color. Then, puncture a vitamin E capsule and squeeze out its contents to the concoction. You can stir in distilled water if the formula is too thick. Blend the ingredients well and transfer the homemade lip stain to a container. That is all!
Oh, and a helpful reminder: Since it lacks cosmetic-grade preservatives, we suggest that you store this in the fridge to prevent it from going bad right away.
