It's fairly safe to say that many people have skipped haircuts during the lockdowns, opting instead to grow out their locks to record lengths. If you're one such person, here's an idea for what to do with all that hair: The Makati Medical Center is calling for hair donations for the benefit of cancer patients.
"Give your locks a purpose! Make a cancer patient smile by donating your hair at MakatiMed Cancer Center," the hospital said in a Facebook post. The donated hair must be a minimum of nine inches long and should not have been chemically treated. The dry, ponytailed hair should be placed in a ziplock or resealable plastic bag and labeled with the donor's name, contact number and address, the hospital said.
