For Preview's October cover shoot featuring MAC Maker Maine Mendoza, we used her custom shade, @MAINEDCM, to make our case as to how far one nude lipstick can go. Needless to say, the peachy beige hue was as versatile as we had hoped! Below, we break down the key products makeup artist RB Chanco used on Maine so you can cop her looks.
On its own, @MAINEDCM gives a barely-there veil of nude. It's a perfect choice for an evening out if you want your lips to look like you didn't apply anything on! But as Maine always says, wearing lip liner underneath this shade can change it completely without losing that effortless touch. For the shoot, RB used MAC's Lip Pencil in Dervish to add a hint of pink and mauve to the otherwise warm nude.

When it was time to bring on the dew, the makeup artist added a generous coat of lip gloss on top. She used MAC's Lipgass in Clear, a colorless gloss that can give you a juicy pout without changing the shade of your lipstick. If you're a glossy lid fan, you can use it on your eyes as well!
Speaking of eyes, don't think we didn't see your comments about Maine's lashes. The secret to those spidery strands? The Extended Play Gigablack Lash mascara, a cult-favorite that'll keep your lashes curled and voluminous all day. It's one of our go-tos at Preview HQ, too!
