We all have our go-to bullets of MAC lipstick. For some it’s the classic matte red Ruby Woo, for others it’s the intense reddish burgundy Diva. But what if we told you that the famed makeup brand is now letting you create your own lipstick shade? Sounds exciting? Sure is.
Just yesterday the brand announced that they are launching a new lip-color mixing project called MAC Mix + Match where they urge fans to create their own custom shades by mashing up existing shades. The best part is anyone with an Instagram account can join in on the fun! Simply snap a selfie of you wearing a solid (ombré entries will not be honored) self-made lip color and include the names of the shades you mixed, along with the hashtag #MACMixMash in the caption and post! Easy-peasy!
No final statement has been released as to whether entries might become part of MAC’s official roster of colors but who knows, you might just have your custom shade mass produced, right?
