Lucy Torres Gomez has no qualms about posting her bare face on social media. The internet can't help being impressed by the Leyte representative's natural beauty every time she posts, leading everyone to wonder how exactly she maintains her youthful glow.
The last time Lucy gave us a sneak peek into her beauty regimen was in 2019. Back then, she already admitted to simplifying her routine, using only a few products with mild and natural formulations. She made her own face mist with essential oils, removes her makeup and moisturizes with cold cream, to name a few. But a lot can change in two years, and Lucy's latest vlog has all the proof.
On her YouTube channel Love Lucy, the 46-year-old politician revealed what's inside her travel bag. It has a couple of interesting beauty picks, and we break them all down for you below!
"During the pandemic I find more and more that you really don't need makeup, so it's a good time to make the skin breathe," says Lucy. "And what I just do is really water. This is one of my favorites, it's grape water."
The product appears to be the Grape Water mist from French brand Caudalie, which contains only three ingredients: Grape fruit water, grape juice, and nitrogen. Lucy has a big 300ml bottle of it, and it's perfect because she loves sharing it, too. "I use so much of it and people around me, when they see me using it, they also ask if they can use it," she says.
By the way, if you're wondering, Lucy's pouch is from her own brand Truest. Not only is it incredibly spacious, all the profit from its sales also goes to indigent families in Leyte!

When she does wear makeup, however, Lucy keeps it very minimal. "I also don't bring a lot of makeup at the most its just lip gloss or lipstick," she shares. This Bench matte lipstick in First Date, for example, is a shade she loves to use all over the face.

Lucy also swears by Smith's Minted Rose Lip Balm both as a regular lip balm and a primer for lip plumping massages. And for her just-in-case pick, she has what looks like a Charlotte Tilbury lip liner, which she sometimes use as eyeliner!
Lastly, you can't have a no-makeup look without some glow—and Lucy has just the thing for a quick complexion boost. She says, "On days when you really don't need makeup, but you want a little shimmer, I have this. It's eyeshadow but I use it as highlighter."
After a little digging, we found that the product is a limited edition MAC Marilyn Monroe eyeshadow called How to Marry. It's no longer available, but there are a ton of barely-there highlighters out there for you to shop! (Click here for some recommendations!)
She had quite the interesting hair picks, too. Instead of hairspray, Lucy smooths out flyaways with styling wax. "It's very easy to use. It doesn't get your hands dirty, so if meron kang mga tikwas or you just need to put it on stray hairs," she notes.

And for those sudden headaches, she uses this jade comb for a quick head massage that "clears the heat." The one she has is from the brand Hayo'u, which is made of pure jade.
