A natural-looking brow works for every beauty look, and for events season a.k.a the "ber" months, you definitely need to master a softer brow routine to create glam looks that you can wear from day to night. Besides, nighttime looks don't always need to be strong and full-on. You can wear a dark lip with barely-there foundation and brows and yet still make a lasting impression!
For this modern Victorian look, Loisa Andalio's makeup artist Effie Go Iñigo used an eyebrow duo that has a pencil on one end for drawing fine hair and a powder on the other to blend and add more color. To set the brows, she brushed the hairs with colored mascara and combed them upwards to look more natural. The result? Brows sans the harsh edges. Her arches still look full but not too dark and overly drawn-on.

To recreate Loisa's soft brows, try to stay away from very pigmented eyebrow pencils that create dark and heavy strokes if you're not careful. Trust powders and pencils with a finer tip to make your arches look fuller and natural. Don't forget to comb your brows with a spoolie brush after!
