In a sea of all-black outfits, you can always count on a statement lip to stand out. Gal Gadot at the Golden Globes is proof of this, who broke her monochrome look on the red carpet with a berry-hued pout.
Gal's makeup artist Sabrina Bedrani tells Allure that she wanted a color that's more "modern and fresh" instead of a classic red that would be more Old Hollywood. "We wanted her to look very chic and timeless, but very feminine at the same time," she explains. She used a classic drugstore find for the look, one of Revlon's creamy matte lipsticks in the shade Bombshell Red.

With the lips as the focus of the look, Sabrina made the rest of Gal's makeup minimal yet chic. Her skin was fresh and dewy, while her eyes were defined with just a bit of eyeliner but a ton of mascara. Now that's a power look right there!
