Back when top buns and sleek hair weren't all the rage, '90s girls used to pull their hair back with zigzag headbands like this one. It was their version of a quick fix! Which is why, when we spotted this hair accessory at Prabal Gurung's Fall 2018 runway show, we were convinced that the trend is coming back with a vengeance.
Now, even Anne Curtis seems to be in on the trend, rocking the throwback accessory for a campaign shoot:
The new Pantene ambassador is totally channeling the look here! We love how she added a touch of ease by not brushing out her baby hairs, too. Opting for a black headband was a smart choice as well, as it lifted her roots and made her hair look thicker despite being scooped in a bun. Definitely something to keep in mind if you have thin hair!
Need another beauty peg? You can also channel our July 2018 cover with Arci Muñoz. She wore zigzag headbands in red and silver.
While this accessory may cut your hairstyling routine in half, wearing a tight headband all day can be strenuous on your locks. Like Anne, don't forget to use a hair-strengthening conditioner beforehand (she uses Pantene's 3-Minute Miracle) to avoid breakage as you remove it!
