Liza Soberano Might Soon Be Taking Flight as the New Darna

Darna has been dormant since 2009 when Marian Rivera starred in the GMA Network's TV adaptation of the beloved comic series by Mars Ravelo. And as Philippine Star reports, Liza Soberano will take off as the new flying woman in a film to be directed by Erik Matti.

Liza will follow the footsteps of actresses who portrayed the invincible woman dating as far back as 1953.
