When Coco Chanel first created her iconic No. 5 perfume, she wanted “a woman’s perfume, with a woman’s scent.” Over the years, many celebrities including the likes of Lauren Hutton, Nicole Kidman, Audrey Tautou, Gisele Bündchen and even Brad Pitt, took their turns as the face of the brand's perfume. Now, 16-year-old Lily-Rose Depp joins their ranks as Chanel introduces her as the newest face of their fragrance.
The young actress shared the news to her followers as she posted on her Instagram, writing: “I'm so excited to announce that I am the face of the new Chanel Number 5 L'Eau.” The campaign, directed by Johan Renck, is set to launch this Fall.
