Remember a few weeks ago when we featured model Lexi Mendiola and her fearless flaunting of her stretch marks? Well, it looks like we're not the only ones whom she has inspired!

As it turns out, she has caught the attention of women all around the world. In her interview with People Magazine, she reveals her fear and hesitation of posting her stretch marks. “Social media is quite a competitive platform in the Philippines, especially for models and influencers, so the only thing I was sure of was that I was doing something against the grain,” she says.
But it seems to have been all for the best. As it turns out, she has paved a way for others to accept themselves despite of their flaws. "People need to realize it’s not always the way it seems online," she states in her post.
Moreover, she is deeply grateful for the unexpected positive response her post has garnered. "I didn’t realize it would get this far and [that it would] touch people the way it did."
