These days, there are apps for everything—now including haircare. L'Oréal has introduced the world's very first smart hairbrush, the Kérastase Hair Coach Powered by Withings!

Boasting sensors that collect data read by signal analysis algorithms, an application linked to the brush provides further insights and customized product advice for consumers. All information gathered transfers via Wifi or Bluetooth to the mobile app, called UX, which also analyzes weather-related factors (humidity, temperature and UV levels).
According to a report by Women's Wear Daily, the brush itself is said to minimize hair damage like split ends and breakage caused by forceful brushing! Some features that might impress you: a sensor-enabled microphone that identifies brushing patterns; cell panels measuring the force the brush applies to hair; an accelerometer and gyroscope to further analyze brushing patterns and count brush strokes, and conductivity sensors to note if the hair being brushed is wet or dry.

The Hair Coach is set for stores in mid-2017! What do you think? In our opinion, this is the epitome of advanced mane maintenance.
