The beauty of styling your bangs is that you aren't stuck with only one method. Depending on your preference or how much time you have, you could blow dry with a roller brush for volume, give it a slight curl with a hot iron, or, if you're extra lazy, simply pinch it with an eyelash curler.

For a more classic approach, though, you might want to consider a true oldie-but-goodie method: hot rollers. As much as these might remind you of your grandma and your mom's hair routine, that doesn't take away how amazing these are for stylng bangs. In fact, it'll help you achieve that signature Japanese-style fringe in less than five minutes—and we have proof!

Hairstylist and makeup artist Katchie Mejias wrote on her Instagram stories that she's always wondered why the Japanese's bangs always looked perfect. So when she chanced upon affordable hot rollers during her trip, she had to try them herself.

According to Katchie, she let the machine heat up the rollers for two minutes. Once they were warm enough, she rolled up her fringe and left it to set as she did her makeup. Yup, it was that easy!

Comparing the rollers to her other hair tools, she tells Preview, "These have a curved shape made especially for bangs to give extra volume, [compared to] curlers offered in the Philippines that are designed mostly [to curl] hair."

Overall, the hairstylist thinks it's something she herself would use every day. Check out the finished look below!
