The beauty with the brains, the body, and all the sparkles to match, Megan Lynne Young, can now add the word queen to her title as she is this year's Miss World Philippines. Crowned just a few nights ago, the actress/host/VJ turned beauty queen will have no time to rest as she is set to compete in Jakarta, Indonesia representing the country in the Miss World 2013 next month.
Even with her celebrity status, Megan went through the entire process just like everyone else and trained hard to make her dream come true. She was an early favorite along with her toughest competitor Janicel Lubina, but when she won seven out of the fourteen special awards at the coronation night, we already knew she was a shoe in to win the title. Looking elegant and statuesque in her Eric delos Santos gown, she confidently answered the question that would seal the deal and show everyone that now is her time to truly shine.
