for in organic products.

While Californian Karen Behnke was pregnant with her first child at 40, she found it difficult to find healthy beauty alternatives to use during her pregnancy. She then decided to launch Juice Beauty, an organic beauty brand that is not a safer and more natural choice for the skin, but that works just as well as most chemical-filled products out there. Unlike the typical organic products which use water as their base, Juice Beauty uses a 100% certified organic juice based which is a concotion of 30 different fruit and vegetable juices which is found in all their products.

Alaina Thompson, Global Marketing and Sales Manager for Juice Beauty recently stopped by to reintroduce the brand which has actually been on the shelves of Beauty Bar for three years and running. But with the influx of plant-based products now emerging in our stores, we asked Alaina how to spot genuinely organic products from those merely claiming to be. Click on to read her guidelines and to learn more about Juice Beauty.
