The classic cherry lip is undoubtedly timeless. It's that one look that goes with anything and everything, but like every mega star, it comes with its fair share of secrets. Crimson lipstick to cover undereye circles (as first demonstrated by YouTube beauty vlogger Deepica Mutyala)? Your favorite scarlet as a bronzer? Best believe it! Let us show you how to flaunt a full face of makeup using just one ruby red.

STEP 1. Conceal
Apply red lipstick around your undereye area and on any other trouble spots with a concealer brush. Next, tap a liberal helping of your usual liquid concealer on the said areas, then blend with a beauty sponge 'til seamless.
STEP 2. Bronzer
Swipe a subtle streak of red just under your cheekbones, along your jawline, and down the sides of your nose. Again, make sure you blend, blend, blend!

STEP 3. Eye stain/liner
One of our current favorite beauty trends is the poppy-stained lid. Just pick some red lipstick up with your finger, then dab onto your eyelids! Take the look even further by lining your peepers with a scarlet feline flick.
STEP 4. Blush enhancer
Here's an insider trick! Apart from working double time as a cheek tint, red lipstick can be worn under regular powder blush as a sort of primer. Warm some lippie on your cheeks, then dust your blush on top! The color will stay on for ages.

STEP 5. Lip contouring
It'd be way too obvious to simply swipe your lipstick on as a final touch. Instead, take a cue from Marilyn Monroe and subtly contour your pout! Shade the edges of your smile with red lipstick, then apply a slightly lighter hue towards the middle. Fuller lips in a nanosecond!
