STEP 1. Conceal

Apply red lipstick around your undereye area and on any other trouble spots with a concealer brush. Next, tap a liberal helping of your usual liquid concealer on the said areas, then blend with a beauty sponge 'til seamless.

STEP 2. Bronzer

Swipe a subtle streak of red just under your cheekbones, along your jawline, and down the sides of your nose. Again, make sure you blend, blend, blend!

STEP 3. Eye stain/liner

One of our current favorite beauty trends is the poppy-stained lid. Just pick some red lipstick up with your finger, then dab onto your eyelids! Take the look even further by lining your peepers with a scarlet feline flick.

STEP 4. Blush enhancer

Here's an insider trick! Apart from working double time as a cheek tint, red lipstick can be worn under regular powder blush as a sort of primer. Warm some lippie on your cheeks, then dust your blush on top! The color will stay on for ages.

STEP 5. Lip contouring

It'd be way too obvious to simply swipe your lipstick on as a final touch. Instead, take a cue from Marilyn Monroe and subtly contour your pout! Shade the edges of your smile with red lipstick, then apply a slightly lighter hue towards the middle. Fuller lips in a nanosecond!
