Choose your weapons wisely.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it (because not all girls will!), is to tame your tresses as well as a seasoned stylist, such that no one will be able to tell you did it to yourself. We present you an array of tools and techniques of either stealth or speed, whatever your need may be, that will help you in your (literally) hot pursuit for greater hair. Heed caution, however, as each device brings about its own particular effect. Choose your weapons wisely and you'll have an assmebly of paraphernalia that will make a good team.

The key to a good curl is to keep it light. Remember two things:

1. Shampoo, don't condition, and...

2. Oil up instead of creaming the frizz off.

Conditioner is to hair as water is to people: It cools you down, quenches, but also adds weight, so if you want volume and bounce, you better avoid it. If you curl your hair and condition often, chances are there will be heavy buildup and no volume—what more if you have additional product on your tresses? Instead, use a dry shampoo for a grease-free texture, like Etude House's OMG! Dry Shampoo (P448, SM Megamall). If your tresses are parched and skipping product is out of the question, consider oil instead—it gives you the nourishment minus the weight.
