We had high expectations for the first awards show red carpet in 2020, and thankfully, the attendees of the Golden Globe Awards did not disappoint. It had everything from classic looks to ones we've only ever seen in fashion editorials. So below, we round up our favorites:
1. Zoe Kravitz
When you're Zoe Kravitz, a blurred red lip is enough to make you stand out on the carpet.
2. Rooney Mara
Rooney Mara accessorized her bun with the coolest bejewelled headband. Now we want one, too.
3. Lucy Boynton
Why wear just a cat eye when, like Lucy Boynton, you can have metallic crystal wings? Finish the look off with an equally sparkly barrette and you have yourself a head-turning red carpet mugshot.
4. Joey King
Joey King made a case for cool-toned smoky eyes with a striking wash of silver on her lids.
5. Winnie Harlow
Blue eyeshadow isn't going anywhere in 2020, at least according to Winnie Harlow who wore a striking electric smoky eye with some glamorous waves.
6. Laura Dern
Laura Dern's undone messy waves channeled her look's '70s vibe perfectly.
7. Beanie Feldstein
Another hair accessory that caught our eye was Beanie Feldstein's padded navy headband, which matched her gown to a T. We can't get over her gorgeous lashes either, which were delicately perched on her outer corners for a fluttery effect.
8. Kirsten Dunst
Kirsten Dunst always looks pretty in pink. That said, we love how she paired her clean, side-parted tresses with a hot sauce-red pout that tied everything together.
9. Ansel Elgort
Ansel Elgort's glittered tearducts deserve their own award, tbh. That, and those loose wavy strands that whipped handsomely as he walked.
10. Brad Pitt
Regardless of your opinion on Brad Pitt, I bet we can all agree that he has great hair. In fact, nape length locks seem to be a literal growing trend among gents, so if you've been thinking about rocking long hair, you have ours and Brad's blessing.
