Since "glass skin" became a trend in late 2017, the number of beauty clinics offering treatments to achieve it has risen nationwide. Now, celebrities like Liza Soberano, Kathryn Bernardo, Angelica Panganiban, and Dimples Romana swear by it. Ahead, we list some of the glass skin services that you can get from beauty clinics, so you can see what the hype is about yourself:
1. Aivee Glass Facial
The Aivee Clinic's Glass Facial is a non-invasive treatment that promises to brighten, hydrate, and rejuvenate your skin. The process involves the removal of your whiteheads, blackheads, and other elements blocking your pores using an extraction tool or metal stick. After the extraction, the esthetician will apply serum that will brighten your skin and treat acne. The Aivee Clinic suggests that you consult their dermatologist first before undergoing the Glass Facial treatment, especially if you have acne.

2. Belo Glass Skin Facial
Belo Clinic's Glass Skin Facial Treatment is a multi-step deep cleansing wash that will leave you feeling fresh and looking young. It restores your skin's natural radiance by addressing common skin concerns like dryness, rough texture, and uneven tone. The treatment also minimizes signs of aging such as wrinkles, fine lines, and large pores. Prior to the procedure, you will be advised to consult one of Belo's in-house dermatologists who will give you recommendations based on your skin concerns. You may do the treatment once a month or every two weeks, depending on your dermatologist's prescription.
In an Instagram post uploaded on September 20, Belo Clinic shows that the procedure consists of four steps:
"First, deep wash technology forms micro-bubbles that help deliver nourishing liquids into the skin. [Second,] lactic acid is used for the face, while glycolic acid is used for the T-zone. Finally, an ultrasound treatment using Hyaluronic acid gel reduces wrinkles and hydrates skin profusely."
Having your skin hydrated is important because, as Belo Clinic says, "Well-hydrated skin reflects light better creating the illusion of glass skin."

3. Belo Crystalle Glass Mask
Belo's Crystalle Glass Mask is a treatment that you can opt to take after any facial. It's worth adding to your regular treatment rotation as it aims to enhance and exfoliate your skin further. The procedure targets dull and uneven skin tone using a special mask made with 15 percent glycolic acid, two percent phytic acid, and a soothing complex. The process is simple yet exfoliating, with the dermatologist simply applying the mask on your face for 30 minutes using a crystal roller.

4. Glow Skin Clinic Madonna Glow by Oxylight
As the name implies, this treatment will give you smooth, hydrated, glowing skin like a celebrity. Its claim to fame is that it combines six non-evasive skin treatments—diamond dermabrasion, lymphatic cleansing, oxygen spray, ultrasound, microcurrent, and LED light therapy—all in one procedure. Glow Skin also includes facial massage, mild contouring, and acne treatment in the procedure to completely clarify, rejuvenate, and protect your skin from damage. It takes two hours to get everything done and the clinic suggests you book a schedule prior to your appointment, Consultation with their dermatologist is optional, but if you plan to do so, make sure that you come 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled treatment.

5. Flawless Bella Beauty Boost
Bella Beauty Boost is a micro-injection treatment that will provide you with smooth, dewy skin by tightening your pores, repairing skin damage, and fighting skin aging. To ensure that you're pain-free throughout the process, estheticians will apply topical anesthesia on your skin before the actual treatment. Once it has settled in, the esthetician will infuse serum on your face using the thin, tiny needles of the Bella Beauty machine.
Flawless describes the serum as a formula that "contains Hyaluronic Acid to plump and hydrates the skin and repair tissues, PDRN Gel to activate cell regeneration and regain skin elasticity, and Glutathione to enhance immune system and lighten the skin tone." It is recommended that you consult their in-house dermatologist first so you know the number of sessions you need to take for best results.
Bella Beauty Boost is available in all Flawless branches nationwide.
