Fragrance Review: Pretty Hot

Here's something sticky and sweet to heat up your Valentine's.
Fragrance Review: Pretty Hot Here's something sticky and sweet to heat up your Valentine's.

I’m the kind of girl who wears a scent depending on my ever-changing moods. Floral bouquets for date night, musk for when I’m wearing something leathery and studded, and something powdery for when I want to feel fresh out of high school again. That being said, I’ve been in a summery mood lately, especially with the sudden rise in temperature. But I didn’t want any of the lemony fresh stuff usually associated with the season. I was craving for something spicy, something exotic.

Enter: Elizabeth Arden’s sensuous fragrance Pretty Hot. Gifted to me by a beauty girl before me, this has been pushed to the back of my fragrance collection in favor of lighter florals. But as the nights grew warmer (and V-day draws nearer), I found myself reaching for the bottle. Perfumed with blood orange, red peony, and white patchouli, this warm fragrance calls to mind a balmy breeze after a night of slow dancing in the garden. If you’re looking for something sexy to help make him lean a little closer, I’m thinking this is your best bet.

Elizabeth Arden Pretty Hot is available at Rustan's.
