Flawless And Filipino

They deserved a billboard—and got one.
Flawless And Filipino They deserved a billboard—and got one.

Picture Flawless has come to a close and the winners get more than their 15 minutes in the spotlight—they get a whole billboard. The recently-culminated, “less-is more” campaign launched by Forever Flawless (2009's Outstanding Retailer of the Year and one of the country's most in-demand aesthetic clinics) resulted in two winners (whittled down from more than 1,000 applicants and 23 finalists), who, aside from being visible to Manila's motorists on their daily commute, also get P800,000. Not bad for being “just the way you are!”

Reserved, doe-eyed and family-oriented, Julie Arcenio took her postergirl Pinay charm to quite a literal win; edging out other competitors with her refreshing, value-grounded take on beauty and ambition. Flanking her is Robert de Claro, an ex-army brat determined to shed his bad-boy image and become a good role model for his peers.

“Picture Flawless was created with our patients in mind,” says CEO Rubby Sy, “We wanted to give our patients role models from within them, people they could emulate.” Now that's a fresh spin on direct marketing!

Congrats, Rob and Julie!
