Below, Preview talks to the brand's founder to learn more about the startup cosmetics label and its products:
What is the concept behind Everyday Love+? Where did the name come from and how did it start?
"The concept behind the brand is to produce or make something that we love and sparks happiness and creativity in our everyday life, hence the name Everyday Love.
"We started in November 2015. Since we want to launch the brand ASAP, our first products were homegoods. While waiting for the production of our cosmetics, we used to have and make our own line of home fragrances and sanitizers. We catered for parties and events for their giveaways then after a few months we switched to cosmetics. We launched our Nude Lips Collection, which consists of five nude shades."
What kind of products does your brand make?
"Our brand offers small batch-cosmetics like lipsticks and brow products. When we create products, we always think of the basics, the essentials. In terms of cosmetics, lipstick and brows are the top necessities to create a look so we wanted to offer something from that range.
"As for where our products are made, we have multiple suppliers in Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Now, we are releasing something made from the Philippines. Our products are FDA registered and approved, not just the ingredients. Our company also has license to operate and a pharmacist, too. We take the quality of our products seriously and we are making sure it's ethically made and sourced."

How did you start your business and who are its founders? Could you tell us something about yourselves?
"Actually, it’s a 'rebound' business. We used to be a distributor of some foreign brands like Dolly Wink. It was short-lived. We experienced hardships and learned a lot in the process. The beauty in it was we saw a silver lining—something that we can only get by experience. That’s where we started.
"Our founder Marianne Delansig is a serial entrepreneur. She started her few years in the business as a shopgirl for her accessories line Yhansy before venturing in distribution business for foreign cosmetic brands. Now in her 30s, she's a full time mom and entrepreneur.
"With the help of her very supportive life partner Daniel, who’s the real MBA and her work wife/brand catalyst Dhave Reyes, who's also a public servant and the person responsible for our growing reseller family, we are slowly and carefully building Everyday Love to be not just a brand but also a community."
Who do you have in mind when you create your products? Describe the ideal Everyday Love+ girl.
"We create products that we think we need and would love. Our ideal customer is the independent thinker. The one who’s looking for a product not just for the brand recall but also somebody who’s looking for good quality with a nice packaging and a friendly price as well."
What are some of your brand's bestsellers and why do you think your customers love them?
"Our bestseller is the Nude Lips Set. This is our OG product sice 2015. It comes in seven nude shades that are lightweight and long-lasting. We think they love it because of its colors and wearability."

What are your brand's greatest strengths? What sets you apart from other stores?
"We think our greatest strengths are the quality and affordability of the products. We made sure everything is well thought out like the packaging, which we mindfully DIY-ed, written on, stamped, and printed out. The pricing, we only leave a few margins enough to entertain fellow budding entrepreneurs who want to resell and earn extra too."
What about its weaknesses? How are you able to overcome these?
"One of our weaknesses is our yearly marketing plan. Since we are just a small team, we have experienced delays and overwhelmed ourselves with so many ideas but end up short in executions. Now, we are taking it slow, doing a lot of planning and making sure to focus and get things done one to-do list at time."

Where do you see your brand in the coming years? What should we expect from Everyday Love+ in the future?
"For now, we are in the process of formulating more brow products and universal cosmetics and we are very excited for it! For the coming years, we see ourselves still here, thriving! but maybe offering other necessities like everyday clothes, shoes, etc. that are made with love and made for you."
