Step up your hair game with two lovely takes on how to sweep your locks aside. Below, we have tricks from L’Oréal Professionnel’s Anna Trinidad that you should try on yourself!

SIDE BRAID

This braid will not only define your side part but will also give a whimsical touch to your luscious locks.

Step 1: Apply two to three pumps of hair oil onto towel-dried hair.

Step 2: Use a roller brush while blow-drying to create soft waves.

Step 3: Create a side part. Braid a one-inch section of hair right beside it and secure with a hair tie.

Step 4: Make big braids on the other side of your head, tie and blow-dry completely. Let hair loose.

LOOSE TWIST

Add drama to your side part by letting your hair drape coyly over one eye as you pin it back with a twist.

Step 1: Create a triangle on the top of the head (known as the fringe area), and apply hair mousse.

Step 2: Pull the fringe toward the center of the nose with two fingers.

Step 3: Slowly sweep it to the side, keeping the curl; twist and pin behind the ear with bobby pins. Loosen the front part to cover a portion of the eye for a sultry look.
