It's time to love our hair in every shape and form.

They say that your clothes say a lot about your personality without having to speak, and we think the same rings true for your hair. However, we can't deny that we have ways to go when it comes to accepting it as a means of self-expression. Women, for one, deal with negative stereotypes solely because of how they wear their hair, when fact is, it's just hair—not a major personality detector.

To prove it, Dove gathered a group of women with unique stories in a video titled My Hair, My Say. In it, the women talk about dealing with the stereotypes attached to their hair and how they're finally breaking free from its shackles. After all, having blue hair doesn't make anyone a less serious businesswoman, nor does naturally curly hair need straightening to look beautiful. We're all entitled to love our hair in every shape and form, and whatever we do it is our business—stereotypes be forever damned.
