Making the switch to an eco-friendly routine requires dropping many of your go-to products that you grew up using—including your favorite bottle of shampoo. Good thing shampoo bars exist, and we have more options than we think. Unfortunately, though, not nearly enough of us have transitioned to plastic-free alternatives like it. So if there's anything that can help the switch easier, we're all for it!
Enter, The Dissolving Bottle—a shampoo that looks like a shampoo bottle, but has none of the plastic.

Developed by creative agency BBDO Guerrero, The Dissolving Bottle aims to prove that you don't need a bottle to clean your hair. It basically makes shampoo bars more palatable for beginners, because we have to admit—rubbing a soap bar on your hair will always feel odd in the beginning. Think of it as the shampoo equivalent of using Splenda to add sweetness to your coffee: It does the job without the drawbacks.

What makes this design even more worth looking into is that it's proudly Pinoy. The bars are made with organic ingredients by a local manufacturer called The Naturale Market, and each one is able to replace a 90ml plastic bottle of shampoo. And like its name claims, The Dissolving Bottle slowly melts into nothing as you use it. You won't have to worry about throwing out any packaging later!

To encourage more brands to transition to this eco-friendly design, BBDO Guerrero is inviting brands to create their own version of The Dissolving Bottle. Anyone interested can simply fill out the form on their website.
