We spill the beans on these third wave cafes.
Top 10 Third Wave Coffee Shops In Manila We spill the beans on these third wave cafes.

Not since Dsquared sent models down the runway with Starbucks cups have we been this excited about coffee. With the onslaught of third wave cafes, sipping specialty brews amid wood-hewn spaces (did we mention the amazing aroma?) utterly charms us. If you’re a caffeine hound or simply want a flatlay with some perfectly photogenic latte art (shameless!), scroll down for a few of our favorite spots:

EDSA Beverage Design Group

In this spot literally along EDSA, send all the traffic-bad-vibes away by stopping for a quick cup of good espresso. Then grab a scrumptious pain au chocolat to-go.

Find them at: 209 EDSA Southbound right before Saisaki

Magnum Opus

Southern belles, this one is for you. If you like interacting with your food and drinks, Magnum Opus will allow you to enjoy the clean, nuanced flavours of specialty coffee via their pourover method. While you’re there, you should order their wafflegato and dirty whites (pictured), too!

Find them at: 115 Aguirre Street, BF Homes Paranaque City

Toby's Estate

If you dropped by Century City Mall to check out Hole in the Wall, you've probably noticed that Brooklyn-esque space by the escalator. Drop in to get a taste of blends and beans from Uganda, Costa Rica, Panama, and India.

Commune Cafe

A Makati girl's corporate outfit wouldn't be complete without a cup of coffee in hand. If you have time to spare after a meeting, find yourself a spot in the cozy cafe and grab one of the books from their Philippine Lit-stocked shelves. Their 3d foam art will have little pandas climbing out of your cup.

Find them at: Liberty Plaza, H.V dela Costa Street, Salcedo Village, Makati

Kuppa Roastery and Cafe

They take latte art seriously, as seriously as you take your OOTDs and foodstagrams. And if you need to grab a bite before you party all night in BGC, you should def try their crazy delish meals to-share.

Find them at: Commerce Center Building, 31st Street corner 4th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City

EPIC Coffee Roastery

They're so near Preview HQ we had to pay them a visit the second they opened. Order the local brew or their Sea Salt Caramel Iced drink, then snap an OOTD. Who knows, we might even regram you.

Find them at: 102 East Capitol Drive, Brgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig

Yardstick Coffee

The scorching heat of the summer doesn't change the fact that we need our caffeine-fix. Espressos (pictured) aside, grab Yardstick's Cold Brew. Coffee newbies, think of it as a sour/bitter cocktail.

Find them at: 106 Esteban Street, Legaspi Village, Makati
