If you're cutting your precious hair, might as well do it for a good cause, right?

October may be Breast Cancer awareness month, but this 2014, American salon brand, Matrix, wants to make a difference. Did you know that everyday, an additional 3,500 children in the Philippines struggle with various types of cancer? Yes, it’s the sad but true reality of this sickness. Cancer is worldwide problem which is also why it calls for a global campaign. Matrix Chairs of Change is a global initiative that allows hairstylists to make a difference through their craft. Making its way to our country this time around, now is our chance to act. By joining the 8-Inch Cut for Cancer Challenge for the benefit of Filipino children with cancer, donating your hair is how you can do your part and at the same time, raise awareness.
