Ah, bangs. While it's not the most summer-friendly look ever, we can all agree that it gives off a certain #aesthetic. To keep your forehead from burning up, however, we suggest styling your fringe more comfortably—A.K.A. not letting it all the way down. Here's an idea from Georgina Wilson and Liz Uy that you can cop all season:
Curtain bangs, or a full fringe split in the middle, can frame your face and give you some breathability. Celebrity hairstylist John Valle once told us that this also effectively contours a round face shape like Georgina's. "The fringe covers both sides of the face, which includes half of the brows, so it gives this illusion of a more oval-shaped face," he explains.
To cop the look, part your hair in the center (bangs included) while it's still wet. After which, blow dry each half towards opposite directions, creating that curtain-like effect. If you're feeling it, you can even top off the look with a headband like Liz for extra hold and a summer-ready touch!
