We seriously can't wait for Baz Luhrmann's latest masterpiece The Great Gatsby. Our longtime girlcrushing over Carey Mulligan is official, as her turn as the iconic Daisy Buchanan gets us crazy over the decadent look of the jazzy era. The period flick is set in Long Island, New York during the Roaring Twenties, and like Carey in real life, Daisy sports a short bob, the hottest hair trend from that decade. Aside from short trims, 1920s dames had round, doll-like eyes, thin, extended brows, and vampy pouts with cupid's bows taking the spotlight. Their faces were always powdered matte. Our heroine chose natural pink and peach lipsticks over dark hues to highlight her youthful features.
