Beauty brands like 3CE and Glossier have forever changed the pop-up shop game with their ultra-Instagrammable spaces. It's about time we had one in Manila, and thankfully, Blk Cosmetics now has that covered.
The local beauty brand split a 220-square meter space in the C5 Wing of Market Market into four rooms, which are all decorated to match the theme of its newly-released fragrance line Blk Scents. It's a way of having customers actually experience the scents IRL and perhaps get an Instagram photo out of it, too. Get a quick tour of the space below!
Before entering the rooms, you'll be greeted by the homey setup by Empire Designs. Not only does it have a comfy couch that you'll want to lounge in, you'll also find a collage of behind-the-scenes photos from Anne Curtis' shoot from the scents' campaign!
The first room designed by Justine Arcega embodies the vibrant mood of the Summer fragrance. It's filled with everything that'll remind you of a sunny vacation by the pool with an ice-cold drink in your hand.
In the true spirit of the season and the Spring fragance, the next room is a pastel-pink space that design studio Flourish & Frills adorned in the most stunning flower bouquets.
It goes without saying that this pop-up shop is a content mine. Lucky for all of us, it'll be open to public this October 12 until the end of November—free of charge! The sole rule is that you only have 10 minutes to take your photos in each room, but we swear that's more than enough time. In fact, blk has made things easier for you by positioning small pink stickers that say "stand here" in places with the best composition for photos! Brilliant.
If you found a scent you love while touring the space, you can purchase 250ml (P599) and 120ml (P349) bottles at the exit at 10% off right at the pop-up store. You can also get 10% off at the blk store in Market Market if you show an Instagram photo of yourself taken at the pop-up using the hashtag #blkscentspopup.
