10 Best Celebrity Hair Transformations We Witnessed This Year

Our feeds were never short of awesome hair inspo this year. Someone decides to get a fresh chop and new dye job almost every time we refresh, and it's almost difficult not to follow suit. From the subtle to the most jaw-dropping, we run down some of the celebrity hair transformations that were the hardest to resist (because they were that good):

1. We've learned to always expect the unexpected from Angelica Panganiban when it comes to her hair, but the look she debuted at the premiere of Unbreakable still caught us off-guard in the best way possible. So chic!

2. Sarah Lahbati's foray into the fringe club was no major change, although we have to admit that it had us contemplating about getting a new chop for a while.

3. An impromptu haircut hours before the ABS-CBN Ball gave Gretchen Ho this stunning blunt bob that made her a serious red carpet headturner.

4. Jessy Mendiola experimented with a few bold hair colors this year. As much as we loved her rose gold and gray locks, her initial blonde transformation had too much wow factor to be dethroned.

5. Speaking of blonde hair, we're still thinking about Arci Muñoz in this platinum fringed wig. Maybe she'll consider going for the real thing soon?

6. Leila Alcasid got her shortest haircut last August in the hands of celebrity hairstylist Suyen Salazar. She got a choppy, textured bob that was definitely a celeb-favorite this year, too.

7. Heart Evangelista's impulsive decision to get bangs (that she pulled off effortlessly, by the way) proved how even the subtlest changes can pack a punch.

8. Coleen Garcia's return to the short hair club was nothing short of double tap-worthy. She's proof that even ladies with round faces can rock a bob!

9. Liza Soberano gave us serious balayage envy with her new dye job for her upcoming series Made It With You. Did we mention we love those bangs on her, too?

10. The new year is upon us, and Lauren Reid's cool post-summer 'do earlier this year might just be the perfect way to beckon 2020.
