Weight gain has never been a problem for me until I turned 25. I was one of those skinny girls who can eat two cups of rice and not look bloated at all. Flat abs? I had that before, but as the good ol' saying goes: "You don't what you've got ‘til it's gone." So yes, they’re gone now. And no, I’m not pregnant. *wails*
So I've been on this unending quest to get my abs and arms back—sit-ups, running, Turbo Jam, YouTube exercises—which seemed fun at first, but I realized that the only legit workout that I can actually do without the need to force me to is dancing. I was never the sporty kind (I really tried but I just suck at it), and the only physical activity that I'm good at is dancing hip hop. I used to train and join competitions back in college, but work and real life happened and that pretty much explains everything.
Hence, going to Trainstation for a month-long unlimited workout session was something I looked forward to because for one, they offer hip hop workouts for the anti-sexy dancing me. Located at Fun Ranch, Fontera Verde in Ortigas, the studio offers a variety of group exercises—Zumba, Belly Dancing, Hip Hop—scheduled after work hours.
