Beauty How-to: Diy Hand Exfoliant Because having dry, cracked hands are simply not an option.

No matter what your job or relationship status is, keeping your hands clean and moisturized is a definite must. You never know whose hand you’ll be shaking next or if the guy you’re dating will finally hold your hand, so it’s best to be prepared. There may be a lot of creams in the market, but a hand exfoliant that will kick-away dead skin cells to leave your skin feeling clean and smooth is relatively easy to make. If you're willing to try out the concoction, check out the quick and easy recipe you can whip up in a jiffy below.

You will need:

1 ounce ground almonds (will act as the scrub)

1 teaspoon honey (to moisturize and hold the mix together)

1 teaspoon lemon juice (to cleanse and leave your hands with a citrus-y smell)

2 teaspoons sunflower or olive oil (for maximum moisturizing power)

Procedure:

Mix all the ingredients together into a thick paste. Once the consistency is perfect, gently rub on your hands and leave on for two to three minutes. Rinse off after and use twice or thrice a week. Your hands will feel supple and refreshed after each use.
