Beauty Girls’ New Year Resolutions

Beauty Girls’ New Year Resolutions Thou shall keep thy makeup brushes clean.

New Year’s resolutions get thrown out in the dump. Oftentimes, it becomes our way to check ourselves and come to terms with our shortcomings as we list down the things we aim to achieve in the coming year. But with a little bit of optimism, confidence, and will power, we’re able to reach these goals and feel much better about ourselves as we look back at the end of another year.

So here, we asked a few of our friends from the beauty industry what their resolutions are for 2016. Check them out below:

“Organize my vanity table and wash my makeup brushes more often.”

Nicole Limos, Town & Country Philippines

“I feel like I don’t use my eye palettes enough so my beauty resolution is to wake up an hour earlier daily so I could do different looks and experiment with eye makeup everyday.”

Isha Andaya-Valles, Preview

“To fix my hair everyday. A new short ‘do requires attentive styling.”

“Be more active. #20sixthin”

Janey Aniban,

“Water! Lots of it!”

Ira Nopuente,

“Use an essence or moisturizing serum in the morning before putting on makeup.”

Erin Torrejon,

"Invest in really good skin care products and stick to a daily (day and night) routine no matter what."

Agoo Bengzon

“My beauty resolution for this year is to invest in tightening and lifting procedures such as Aivee Teo’s latest, the Sygma Lift. I feel that since I’m approaching my 40s already, I have to make sure I am preventing (rather than correcting) age problems.”

Retty Contreras,

"Quit hoarding makeup and skincare products. It's time that I learn to finish every bit of product before I open a new one."
