Be Party-Ready In 4 Makeup Moves

Be Party-Ready In 4 Makeup Moves

How did turning up turn out to be so damn hard? When all you want is a good drink and a long night of dancing, spending time in front of the mirror shouldn't eat up your Friday night, so we whipped up this four-step party-ready makeup look you can even easily transition to from your daytime makeup. The key to this look lies in the combination of heavily lined eyes and a high-octane lipstick shade.

1. Take a nude matte shade to give your liner look a clean base to draw on.

2. Take a liquid eyeliner and line your eyes around at the top and on the bottom, starting the line from the middle outwards, ending with an extended flick a bit longer than a cat eye. Do the same right on top of the first line, to create a slightly thicker eyeliner look.

 3. Create depth by dabbing a small amount of blush at the top of your cheeks. Don't overdo it for this look—a heavy eye and lip look will require much less everywhere else.

4. Take a red lipstick in a dark blue undertone. Go for a highly-pigmented red to get the most out of this look—stay away from sheen and stain finishes as they tend to wear out over time.
