Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla's first business venture together will make you want to get a trim. The couple are the co-founders of Barbero Blues, a retro-themed barbershop. They had its grand opening at SM North Edsa The Block last October 26, which coincidentally is also where the actress opened the first branch of her nail salon business, Kathnails.
Before the event, Kathryn gave everyone a sneak peek of the shop on her Instagram. It revealed the vintage-inspired interiors and mirror selfies of the couple in the shop's stunning swivel chairs. In an interview, the couple revealed that they invested heavily on the design of the shop and looked for the best suppliers to achieve an ambience they think everyone would appreciate.
As expected from the stylish duo, Barbero Blues' have the chicest uniforms. The barbers all wear black buttondowns and ties underneath a mustard apron, which has tan leather straps that match their beltbags.
Another thing that caught our attention about the shop is its logo, which will inevitably remind you of Daniel. It features a pompadoured cartoon in the actor's signature tinted sunnies and jacket combo that may or may not also pass as a caricature of Danny Zuko from Grease. So cute!
If your signifcant other is currently itching for a new 'do (or if you're a pixie-haired girl), Barbero Blues might just be the place to try for a trim. FYI, another branch will be opening in SM Fairview, too, in case you live a little farther north!
