Arisse de Santos once wrote on her Facebook wall, "Social media's pretty deceiving because we just show the world what we want them to see." This 22-year-old blogger, who has over 348K followers on Instagram, ironically feels strongly against living a life in squares and being restricted by internet clichés. For her, happiness can't be measured by the number of likes one scores per IG post.

Being BFF to local teen queen Kathryn Bernardo and a digital influencer herself, Arisse is no stranger to the entertainment industry's fame game. A graduate of De La Salle University with a degree in marketing management, she spends her free time blogging about fashion and beauty, listening to Taylor Swift, and obsessing over pretty little things in between. She, however, prefers to keep a low profile as opposed to working in the spotlight. When asked if she'd ever consider an acting career, she was quick to answer no, adding, "People want you to be what they expect you to be and not what you want to be. I don't want to feel like a public property."
Selfie tip #1: For a quick pick-me-upper, all you need is a pop of color on your pucker.
Then again, Arisse still manages to reap thousands of insta-hearts for every selfie she posts. The straight eyebrows, winged liner, and red lipstick she sports are an audience fave, and it takes her only 20 to 30 minutes to prep. But even when she's not copping signature Swiftie makeup, the au naturel look serves her well, too.
Selfie tip #2: Having a bad hair day? There's nothing a chic hat can't fix.
Arisse shares, "I don't want to look like a different person when wearing makeup." She then reiterates that makeup should highlight and not completely alter one's features. Instead of banking on tons of cosmetics and photo-editing apps, she relies on skin care.
Selfie tip #3: A cool pair of sunnies will always prove handy, especially if you've had a long night.
She goes about social media as she does beauty: by keeping it real. And how "filtered" is she exactly? "Barely," she answers. "I don't go out of my way to take the perfect shot."
