Andrea Torres, undoubtedly one of the sexiest actresses in the country, has been for years debunking plastic surgery rumors regarding the size of her breasts.
This started after she played the role of Sif in the GMA-7 telefantasya Victor Magtanggol in 2016. And for a time, there were also some rumors online that Andrea was considering a breast reduction surgery.
However, the Kapuso actress told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last Friday, July 16, 2021, that the idea did not ever cross her mind.
She said, "Actually hindi ko naman naisip na pabawasan siya before. Although, naalala ko nung nagmo-model pa lang ako, kasi more of petite 'di ba? Naalala ko parang tina-try talaga namin na hindi siya masyado mapansin, ganyan."
But through the years, the 31-year-old actress has learned to take all that in stride, to love herself more, and to embrace every inch of her body.
Andrea told PEP.ph, "Parang tanggap ko na siya, parang ganun. Parang in-embrace ko na lang kung ano 'yung body na meron ako.
"In-embrace ko na lang talaga. In-embrace ko na lang kasi parang wala ka rin naman magagawa, 'di ba? I-ano na lang, accept mo na lang kung ano 'yung body na binigay sa iyo."
Andrea has long been "immune" to negative comments about her figure after resolving to ignore and rise above the body shamers.
In a previous interview with PEP.ph, she had said, “Sanayan na lang iyan, di ba? Hindi mo naman kayang i-please ang lahat ng mga tao, lalo na ang mga nasa social media.
"They will always find a way para pintasan ka. Naghahanap sila ng butas para lang meron silang mai-tweet or ma-post sa Facebook. Ang sa akin naman po, okay lang. Choice nila 'yun."
Andrea added, "Kung noon apektado ako sa mga bashing, ngayon na-immune na ako. Kaya hindi na kailangan sagutin or patulan pa sila.
"Kung iyon ang nagpapasaya sa kanila, sino ba naman ako para hadlangan sila? Basta ako, nagtatrabaho ako nang tama at wala akong inaagrabyadong tao."
