Just like everyone else, Andrea Brillantes has been watching a lot of RuPaul's Drag Race. "Every day nakakatapos ako ng isang season, and gusto ko lang [siya] ma-experience," she said in her latest vlog. This fixation prompted her to step out of her comfort zone to try out the drag transformation experience for herself! Thanks to the help of makeup artist Jelly Eugenio, hairstylist Paul Nebres, and stylist Eldzs Mejia, the makeover was a complete success.
World, meet Valentine Royale, Andrea's drag alter-ego!
It was pretty surreal to see Andrea's signature brows get flattened with a stick of glue, which is standard practice in drag makeup. Brow hairs are glued down, covered with opaque foundation, and totally blurred out with powder. Foxy new brows are then penciled high on the forehead.
The end result was nothing short of incredible! Jelly stuck to a classic drag queen look with dramatic black eyeliner, white eyeliner on the waterline to open up the eyes, and sky-high brows. He finished off the look with a sharp red lip. Gorgeous!
