As soon as March hits, summer, a.k.a. bikini season, begins. I do admit that I have a love-hate relationship with the Philippine's tropical climate, but beautiful radio jockey and newlywed, Andi Manzano-Reyes declares her immense love for the season. I asked her to paint a mental picture on why she's obssesed with the season, how she would usually spend it, and what her must-haves are. Read on!
She loads up on the essentials. The looker always has water bottle, sunscreen, hair ties, and sunnies within her reach. Andi believes it's extremely necessary to wear sunscreen especially during the warmer months. Hair ties keep her long, flowy hair bunched up when the temperatures rise. Sunglasses coated with UV protection are also a must to prevent squinting and aging around the eye area. Lest we all forget, drink lots of water for that much needed hydration.
Beach! Beach Beach! She shares, "My summer destination would be any beach! Anywhere there is water, even if it is a pool. I'm a water baby." Her aquatic love affair stems from her being a competitive swimmer before. "I love the water, so any water sport like kayaking is great," she adds.
Hair-free Summer. "First of all it's hot," she proclaims. Summer is the season when skin is in so we take out our bikinis, sleeveless tops, and shorts. Obviously, when a girl is clad in teeny fabric, being hair-free is a must. "You can be carefree," she reasons. Being one of the faces of Strip and Browhaus, she frequents both for hair-liberating services. Strip offers premium hair waxing services, and Browhaus keeps her arches sharp and pruned.
