Hi Alodia! Can you tell us how NYX approached you for the kit? And what was your reaction when you found out?
"NYX approached me for the collab through [my agency] Tier One. [My sister] Ashley and I always see NYX from US bloggers so we were fans of the brand already. It was very exciting for us! It's also the first time a makeup brand asked us to do a big collab with them!"
What look did you have in mind when you curated the products?
"A cute Japanese-inspired look that we could do every day!" (Watch Alodia and her sister Ashley create two looks using the kit here!)
What do you love the most about each of them?
"I love the Adorable eyeshadow palette because it has very natural tones. As for the Lip Lingerie, [I like how it] can instantly change my look and how lightweight it is. And for the Stay Matte But Not Flat Foundation, it really stays intact all day!"
We noticed that the collection has a lot of pinks and browns. What made you go with this color palette?
"Aside from being inspired by Japanese anime art, these are the colors usually used for creating big, bright eyes, pink cheeks, and cute lips."
Out of all the products, which are your personal must-haves for everyday?
"The Lip Lingerie is really a must-have! And the Stay Matte But Not Flat Foundation because it keeps me fresh during shoots."
