It’s undeniable that Dr. Aivee Teo has exquisite taste. Last month we asked her to share her top luxury purchases as part of our Designer Favorites series and the internet fell in love with her MSGM dress that matched that of Seo Ye Ji’s in the K-drama It’s Okay To Not Be Okay. Her custom Monique Lhuillier wedding gown and tiny Jacquemus Chiquito sling bag were some of the other statement pieces in the video that got people talking.
So we couldn’t help but ask the beauty expert to share her favorite fragrances—because based on her fashion picks, we knew she would have an interesting collection of scents. Below, the celebrity dermatologist lists her three go-to scents and why she opts for citrusy notes to smell fresh all day.
Frederic Malle Bigarade Concentree
“My favorite scents of all time would be the Bigarade Concentree by Frederic Malle. The scent is so distinguished with its citrus and floral notes, and has a slight earthy edge to it. I discovered this in one of our Paris trips.”

Frederic Malle L’eau D ‘Hiver
“Another favorite is L’Eau D ‘Hiver which is also by Frederic Malle. It has a powdery scent as if you had just come out of the shower, and is very light with a slightly sweet almond touch, and it just makes my day every time I put it on. The smell is so nostalgic that it bring back memories from my childhood.”

“And lastly, the Penhaligons Luna eau de toilette. It is composed of soft citrus, rose and jasmine with a touch of juniper berry and warmed by amber. The smell is elegantly mixed with a fresh, clean, and light scent, which is good for everyday use. I always like Penhalligons scents.”
