We all go through that phase when our once perfectly manicured tips (usually just a few days old) turn into an unfathomable mess. Chipped polish often leads to the bad habit of peeling and you know that it’s included in our list of nasty routines we need to break, right? So when emergency happens and you don’t have a polish remover in sight, or if you unluckily run out, what you need is a temporary substitute and not a peeling spree.

You need another polish. Yup, you read that right. If you remember, we introduced you to a quick fix and our sparkly little secret to hide the unsightly digits a few months ago. This time around, we suggest you try a clear top coat to replace your trusty nail polish remover. If you don’t feel like piling on more polish on your already massacred tips, try applying a clear top coat and rubbing it with cotton. The trick is to allow the lacquer to stick to the top coat so you can either peel it off or remove them completely by rubbing. This is, of course, a temporary solution. You would still need to grab a bottle of nail polish remover as soon as you spot one.
